Jen + Josh : Golden Vail Mountains
Jen and Josh were such a fun couple. From start to finish we tied in their love for the mountain with a warm color palette. It all started with a save the date card that was playful yet functional. The card included a removable magnet for each guest to place on their fridge as a convenient reminder of the upcoming wedding.
For the invitation, we continued the mountain theme with a more formal, elegant touch. Letterpress and gold foil created a stunning invitation that was tied together with a warm leather engraved wrap. To enhance the beauty, I created custom envelope liners using the mountain design from the save the date cards.
The design was carried through into the reception, as the "Jen and Josh" logo was used on the custom dance floor and donut wall by Design Works. I also continued the use of leather and gold by creating leather place cards with gold hand lettering. It was such a treat to work with this fun couple from the start to finish.
This invitation suite was inspired by a desire to make a subtle statement. I used a neutral palette combined with a simple mountain design & romantic script. The addition of a local topographic map of the region created a delicate texture while tying it to the region where the wedding was held.
This invitation suite was inspired by a desire to create an elegant invitation with an unexpected texture. The unexpected texture was created using a historic Colorado map from 1894. This not only added texture but tied it locally to the region and it's history. To balance the bold texture of the map, I created a soft yet modern layout with the invitation text.
This sweet couple got married at the St. Regis in Aspen, Colorado. The St. Regis in Aspen is a chic and elegant venue set in the stunning landscape of Aspen Mountain. Keeping that in mind, we created an invitation suite that reflected the mountain landscape while elevating the overall aesthetic with blush and burgundy tones and elegant script font. Then we topped it off with a luscious velvet monogram tag that was tied around the invitation with a rose gold twine. A perfect combination of romance, elegance, and mountain chic!
Laura + Joseph: Beaver Creek Mountain Elopement
This invitation suite was inspired by the snowy, aspen-covered mountaintop haven, known as Trapper's Cabin. It is a quaint cabin located atop Beaver Creek mountain where Laura & Joseph recited their vows with eight of their closest family and friends. The invitation is laser engraved wood with a soft romantic design that incorporated a touch of winter with the evergreen branch. It is paired with a blush and wine colored reply card and envelope to give it a warm winter color palette. The design was then carried through on the menus and signage.
This invitation suite was inspired by the natural beauty of the mountain landscape of Colorado. I created the invitation with a natural color palette and simple mountain and tree graphics. The overall layout was designed to be a soft, yet untraditional and unique aesthetic. Finally the kraft envelope and twine complete the design, giving the suite a rustic look inspired by the outdoor venue.
