This invitation suite was super fun to create. It started with the concept of taking the night sky on the exact date/time and location of the couple’s first date and translating that into an accordion book invitation suite. The night sky was foil printed on custom velvet that was turned into the covers of the accordion book. The folded pages of the book were letterpress and foil stamped in rose gold. Then a custom velvet pocket with a crescent shaped curve was incorporated on the back cover to create the perfect spot for the RSVP card and envelope. The accordion book was then wrapped in a vellum band and custom wax seal. This elegant little package was then placed in a custom box scored envelope that had a cloud filled inside and custom crescent curved flap to create the perfect celestial envelope.
The celestial design was then carried through to the wedding day stationery. The menus were designed with the same crescent shape as the invitation and the night sky was again foil stamped on the velvet to be the back of the menu card. The place cards were rose gold mirrored acrylic in a crescent moon shape with laser engraved names. Even the welcome sign utitlized their wedding logo and night sky.
